So I'm dropping off the motor next week for a rebuild of 1500 going to make it a 1600 but keep it stock looking. Refurbishing the OG coil dist and carb. But does anyone have a opinion on the stock tranny? I have a freeway flyer on my 65 bug and it's great on the highway but I'm curious wit the OG tranny in this notch if I'm better off swapping it out or keeping it. Opinions advice?

Send the original trans out and have them change the diff ratio if you prefer the FF. Again, this is something that should be able to be done keeping the stock trans case and appearance. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Your manual transmission has a 4.25 or 4.12 ring & pinion? The '73 only manual transmission has a 3.88 ring & pinion similar to the automatic transmission. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Well picked up the original back seat. I love the armrest! All I need now is the fronts and I can go get the upholstery started. If anyone has a nice set or knows of any for sale!le please let me know. Oh and still missing a rear popout window frame if anyone has any info. Ive seen some front seats on here but seem a little pricey. Does anyone have an idea what a fair price would be?
