It is nice to have mohair or tweed material or other cloth headliner installed in ovals. Will water come in from the top of the quarter window and rear window since a small portion of the fabric will be folded over outside. I know i got to install new rubber but how long can that hold up? I thought even a little imprefection will cause water to soak in.

Can someone enlighten me on this as i had only used vinyl on my later model?

If it does 3M makes a windshield caulking that is injected under or between the body and seal and is not seen

I was refering to small portion of the headliner folded outside. Even with new rubber, a little imperfection might cause water to go in. Is there any chemical that I can spray to make it water proof?

what is the product code of 3m product? Is it in black or colorless?

Al headliners are folded like that one in your picture. Thats how they are original and if you put a new one in. And no it should not be a problem or cause leaks at all... Smile
