Uuuuuugggghhhhhh....I just got the car July 7th and I already broke a piece off 
Does anyone know of or have one for sale for a '55? I've looked and this one, to me, looks like the passenger side. Am I mistaken:

What part broke? The handle? If so you only need the handle portion. |

The handle and half the 'u' portion broke free from the 'u' shape that cups the glass. Half of the 'u' shaped part is still attached to the handle via the cotter pin. Unfortunately I need the u shaped part. The handle and push button are intact.
Too bad because the chrome is stellar on both of the vent windows 
I am NOT happy

I think the U shaped pieces are pretty interchangeable, but you'll need to pull the glass and re-rivet in the u-shaped piece.
I bet any late 50's to early 60's piece would work if you just swap the handle. |
