Hello everybody,

just got my split window bug on friday and Im trying to install new door window scrapers as the old ones are too soft and they slip down along the glass into the door bay when winding the window down.

I see the scraper comes with a lip where Im not sure how deep the scraper should be installed and if the lip will be above the edge of the door shell (Fig.1) or even a bit inside the door bay (Fig. 2).

In my case if installing like seen in fig.1 the scraper isn't close/tight enough to the window glass. So I just "assume" the Fig.2 way would be the correct one.

Can someone approve or even show me a close picture of his correct installation.

Thanks and best regards.

Andrew

Looks like your rubber is upside down.

But then in fact I would need to install the scrapers in a way the lip will be inside the door bay. See fig.3 below.

Cause if I would flip the rubber then the smaller side won't be wide enough to make the cuts/holes for the wiring fit on the rubber.

So which of the above wire installations is the correct one?
