Saw this nice original bus today at the Bicester heritage Sunday scramble meeting today in the UK.
RHD walk through sunroof standard.Driven to India in the 1960's, then onto a boat towards New Zealand. Brought back to the UK a few years ago by the original owners daughter...

I know this bus well, family got involved when it was almost mine but glad it's still in the family. This is an incredible Bus and a monster if there was ever one...that paint was still amazing.
Glad Dave's daughter appears to be looking after it.
Dream bus. |

It's not a monster, its a MONSTER
And M code 228!!.
How many other 228 Buses are out there??
This might be the only one with M Code 184 walk through.
And the M 543 is a strange one as it had the middle and rear seats. |

I think I just soiled myself, haha. That Bus is AWESOME
Also thanks for posting this photo
I wasn't sure my '63 Bus should have the beading on the spare tire cover and that pretty much proves beading is correct. |
Everett, Back when I was trying to collect everything basalt grey for my mouse I ran across two spare tire covers.. One with beading and one with out. Both look and played the part of being og. I did think much of it at the time but if my memory serves me well I thought the one with beading looked made and not og? But made well. But since I don't have a walk-thru I didn't really pay enough attention to them and passed on them. _________________
