Looking for a way to clean up the reverse button on an old aluminum shifter. Button is corroded and stuck. I thought about soaking in apple cider vinegar as we soak our carbs to clean them out. But, are there better ways of attacking this. Also may be magnesium I haven't looked to see brand in quite some time. And if I could ever figure out how to post photos I would
