I recently moved to NC. I met a guy at the feed store named Tom who told me he had 3, 36 hp engines with Judson super chargers. Two in cars and one out. I went to Tom's house and checked out his collection! Really cool Old School vintage speed. He dropped off a ton of vintage Judson Supercharger related articles and tuning tips at my house today. I need to share this stuff. The first installment is below.

Supercharging The Pros and Cons of Blowing the Beetle
With a name like that you know it's gotta be old school.

That's very kind of you to think of us enthusiasts. Smile

If you have a look in the Samba Archives here: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/ you'll find a section of the Archive entitled (bottom right) "Judson Archive" where you'll find all of the information you've posted.

Have a look through what is in fact the "meat" of all the information from the old "Judson Register", if you find you have additional information not to be found in the Archive please let Everett have it so it can be added to the Judson Information we already carry.

Hi John, I just checked that section and did not find a article titled "Supercharging pros and cons of blowing your beetle" Thanks for bringing my attention to that section. I will check if any material remaining will duplicate before posting. Thanks.

Yes it's here: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/judson/tec...ndbook.pdf It's a chapter from the 1963 "Volkswagen Handbook" published by HOT ROD magazine in the section titled "Technical Articles" http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/judson/tech/index.php Smile
