I'm afraid to overfill the oil, but when I check the dipstick (cool engine),it looks like there's oil to the fill line. It's hard to tell on the stick. Suggestions?

A small overfill won't matter

During an oil change you'll use about 2 and a half quarts.

I guess your oil is really clean?
That's the only time it's hard to see it on the stick.

Just in case:
Pull out stick, wipe it with a rag, reinsert, check level.
Look at the back of the stick if it's easier for you to see the level.

If it's not at the full line, add some, you will be ok.

I usually keep my driver in between the lines.
