All we have on The Samba Archives are the:
1957: Parts Book
1958: Parts Book
and the 1960 Body Manual
Shop Manual - Body section
Lots of Owners Manuals

Not sure where you will find an online copy of the 1964 Parts Book or even if one exists.

Occaisionally you see parts books for sale in the classifieds but you have to leap at them as soon as they appear. I've scanned sections of the one i have but it will be a while before any of it could be offered up as a downloadable PDF.

One is listed as a future addition thru the "Upcoming" button here:

http://oacdp.org/

Type 1 Beetle parts manual there should help with the mechanicals.

Shhh...
Don't tell anyone but The Online Karmann Ghia Resource is still online. Just doesn't have a domain name.
http://216.120.237.3/~typeaa/
Complete parts list is still there.

Not the parts book, rather the illustrations from the parts book.
Evertt has just uploaded these on the Samba in the Technical section under Ghia Owner's Manuals / Other Manuals.

The document contains the drawings from the VW parts book that I scanned and converted to vector graphics using some of the features of Adobe Illustrator. It was tedious but worth the effort removing all the noise to only leave clean black and white drawings that can be scaled up to any size ( within reason ). It is good quality and I think many would appreciate the exploded diagrams. The diagrams show 60’s and 70’s Ghias. Fat chick lights and bumpers as well as later wood grain dash panels and my favourite plastichrome dash trim unique to ‘66 all make appearances.

Here it is for the enjoyment of the sambanista if you scroll right to the bottom

Posting those are great!

Thanks for your work putting it all together.

If you want part numbers follow this link.....
It has chassis number and model information.
The downside is....... how's your German?
