I replaced my side trim and trim clips last week with parts from KGPR and am having troubles keeping the trim in place. Nothing impresses more than shutting the door at the valet of a fine restaurant to only have to get back out and pick up parts from the car. Any suggestions for securing the trim? I was considering sticky back hook and loop. A little piece on each clip and a mating piece on the inside of the trim.
Thanx folks.

Remove the trim, go to Walmart and buy some double side tape and put 1" pieces on the trim on each side of the clips, remove the protective film from the tape and install. Push firmly by the clips to seat the tape and you are good to go.

X2 on the Eddie Ray Way. I found the clips online in a box with enough for the whole job.

you can also give the trim a little squeeze to get more bite on the clips

Sometime if you have a thick layer of filler this will cause the clips to not work properly. Do you have any filler in the area?

Most of my trim is attached with M4 screvs and nuts.
If you take 15mm long M4 with six sided head(don't know the name in english) and grind the top on two sides, it will fit perfect in the trim Smile
