I saw a very clean mid-80's Ford Escort wagon today. I don't recall the last time I saw one of those on the road, much less one that looked nearly new. _________________ nothing |

today I passed a fiat 124 spider (the real one, not the current re-edition) on the autostrada. Had probably never seen one outside of a car show in my life. _________________ cars:

A pair of these beauties were heading off to the races. They were loading the truck and getting ready to roll. You don't see these in the daily commute!

No picture, but a couple of weeks ago out in the middle of nowhere in the Door County, Wisconsin peninsula I saw a right-hand drive Goggomobil sedan on the road.

I got to see one of my favorite supercars - well, I guess the fastest road car ever
the Ultima GTR
Fastest 0–60 mph (97 km/h) time: 2.6 seconds
Fastest 0–100 mph (160 km/h) time: 5.3 seconds
Fastest 30 mph (48 km/h)–70 mph (110 km/h) time: 1.8 seconds
Fastest 100 mph (160 km/h)– 0 mph time: 3.6 seconds
Fastest 0–100 mph (160 km/h)– 0 mph time: 9.4 seconds
Best performance on a skidpad: 1.176g lateral grip in a 200 ft (60 m) circle.
Fastest road car over the 1/4 mile: 9.9 seconds @ 143 mph (230 km/h) _________________ Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! |
