Its prob going to be a long haul and The bug is sitting waiting to be picked up. I don't know when that will happen. I also need to get rid of the pile, kinda hard to do when it will have no front beam or tans.

The 68 doesn't have an IRS? I thought all >67 had. Its awesome you where able to score a bug you knew of for 18 years. Will feel like a new car compared to your yard find.

68 I think was a transition year towards the end. I ended up selling the whole car to a local guy that knows what he is getting into. So starting from scratch and I just picked up the tags and collectors plates. I will prob start a new thread and link it here when It get it home. The guy who bought the car is actually helping pick it up mine. Very Happy

The brakes were little locked up so by the time we towed it home smoke was coming out of the brake drums. Going to have to redo them anyways. I will start a new thread when I actually start working on it and post a link here.

The owner did say he has a 1776 going in a week or two. I am glad he still loves the pile. Smile
