From sitting for years, dirt and detritus built up and rotted away the hood seal lip on the front cowl panel of my '73 restoration project. This is the only body rust on the car so I figured I may as well repair it right. I located a perfect replacement panel from a donor car and removed the bad one by drilling out the factory spot welds and grinding the stitch welds. Pretty stoked to see that the inner panels were all perfect. I'll weld the new panel in place then pull the body to do the pans.
