Hey Culito

I just found your build thread...just getting back into it again....I love the finish on that VW bug....I am a firm believer in keeping older stuff looking older...linseed oil...not a bad thing to remember for my next build....

Love the midwest rust way better than the severe rot we have in the upstate NY area...I have my son looking for something in Kansas...

Thanks for posting...I am loving it...the look is spot on.

My buddy bought that shell for $40. The rear end was baja'd.
He used a bunch of parts off of it to build his bug, the steering column is in my bug, and the rest got scrapped.
If the rear wasn't already cut up, and it wasn't quite as rotted, it would have been a nice patina project.
