I replacing my mangled T3 rear apron w/ the FG part from Glass Action.
While researching paint prep, some sources say use a FG specific epoxy primer, some just say epoxy.
My question(s): Must I use a specific epoxy, or can I just use rattle-can epoxy from FLAPS? (This will be the only piece of FG on the car, and I don't want to buy a quart of something special)
And after epoxy, I can just continue as normal paint prep?

Normal epoxy in a can is not activated and is not nearly the quality of what you buy with activator.
Now they do make two part epoxy in a rattle can but its probably as expensive as a quart of epoxy. |

Thanks, but that would be true regardless of the substrate being sprayed.
Question is; Do I need a "specially formulated" for FG epoxy?
Unless someone says different, I'll try rattle can from FLAPS. I can't see spending $40 or so just to cover about 48X18 inches. _________________ Everything known to man has been written.
