What is the maximum amount of metal that SAFELY be milled/skimmed from the above mentioned heads/blocks before problems would start to occur? Appreciate any information and insight. Jerry

First off, I don't know, but some other factors to take into consideration are that the head bolts are torque to yield, meaning that they stretch, so if you measure them they will be longer when installed, so make sure they have enough thread so the bolts don't bottom out. Another thing to ponder is that as you decrease the overall height, not only will you increase the compression ratio but you will also retard the cam timing.

Autotech and I think techtonics did some hybrid ABA stuff back in the 90s & early 2000s, you might be able to talk to someone in their tech department.

Seems it would easier and cheaper to buy a set of custom pistons.
