I use these from my local Pep Boys store. They have a nice wide base so they support a tall drink and don't slide around on the carpet. I like being able to move them around the van to where they are needed.

I rarely drink and drive, but I've found the stock Carat cup holders and location to be perfect for holding my phone and other miscellany, plus they fold up and are unobtrusive when not in use. I finally replaced the original front units with some I bought from Bus Depot a few years ago, due to still functional but broken retaining arms. They screwed right into the factory holes _________________ Casey--

Hookup universal height adjustable Cup holder. Can hold coffee mug.
It can slide into any door pad edge or be screwed anywhere. Still in R&D.

These "cup holders" came with my '87. I always imagined that the PO's wife figured this out, and had the old Duffer screw these on. I make up all kinds of stories in my head about that old couple. So many mods, I'm still finding more every time I take her out on a trip. Wish the next of kin would find the log book. I am quite certain he kept notes.

A spare rear table en route to becoming a closet door will yield a nice piece of scrap...
Pencil and paper clip cups available at Amazon, Office Depot, etc. I bought a half dozen assorted cup holder inserts off Amazon and none were sized as well as these. 3 3/8" hole saw...
Two sizes of cups accommodate short cappuccino cups or tall water bottles or eyeglass cases...
For me, retaining easy pass-through was a non-negotiable...

I like, and I just busted both of my cupholders last weekend. What's that from? |
That would be great if it was hinged to fold down! _________________ "Blanch" '85 Westy
