Round here we call 'em Mexicokes or Hechos...they have real sugar in 'em too!
Beware the American versions with High Fructose Corn Syrup, Hechos have white border around the Coca Cola graphic and are in the tall bottles.
Sad an American product exists that we as Americans get the absolute worst version of it here, and must seek the genuine formula from our southern neighbors. Or Europe. they use sugar too.

It's the US HFCS version, but we can also get the sugar-based Mexican here, too

Usually a sizeable deposit via Western Union to hold on to it for you, the price is often too good to be true and the text describes a sudden panic need to sell, or just plays it like a seller who has no idea what it's worth. Sometimes they even have the balls to ask for the full sale amount up front.
The next day the phone number they gave you doesn't work and they've vanished.

Please make your spouse aware of these scams . My wife was planning to surprise me with one of these bargains . If her sister hadn't "ruined the surprise " we would have lost a $1000 deposit .

This is a good point. My pops fell for the "Microsoft Tech Support" scam last week. An American dude on the other end of the phone with a "semi-legit" company. They remote into your computer, "show" you that you have virus/malware/adware/PUPs and then sell you their antivirus software and services for hundreds.

Luckily my pops shut down his computer as soon as he saw that the guy had control over his computer. I wiped his computer and fresh installed Windows just to be safe.

Public Service Announcement:

1. Microsoft will NEVER call you. Period.

2. A popup on your computer that is not from your installed anti-virus software is a SCAM.

3. If a price is too good to be true, it probably is.

4. Research EVERYTHING

5. If you don't know, ask a friend.

6. The IRS will never call you. (Over 5 million lost to date on this scam)

Report your SCAM to the FTC here: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1

Be informed of scams by reading here:
https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0076-phone-scams

Not a good idea. Best to flag/report and leave them alone. A lot of them only want your email address or phone number. They then sell this information to marketing companies who then sell to other marketing companies etc.

Getting those recorded and hang-up calls from random numbers? It's because your info has made it into their system one way or another.

I am wondering if it is this bus?

The good news is that the type 1 engine is pretty cheap and easily available. You can probably find a good, used, turn key or a rebuilt long block for around $1200. You'll need to do the removal and replacement to get that price though.

Did you hear any bad sounds when the engine quit? Maybe see some smoke or oil on the ground?
