I had to fit Oval doors to my 1950 Split. I've converted them to one piece glass.
I finally managed to source some correct door check straps, but what I don't know is where should the slot be in the door?
Everything is painted so I only have one chance to cut the slots.
Can anyone provide a sketch or photo with measurements?

Just opposite to the slot in the A-pilar?
