and then this week was the vw nationals again in sydney. where i bumped into Rich and his recently finished Ghia
and also met with my good friend Pat with his Ghia
in the end i brought home the trophy..
another great day spent with like minded folk and some awesome people whom i can begin to call my extended family. cannot wait until next year. |

Your car is beautiful. I like the attention to detail and especially the personalised touches like the console (where did you find that?) and the bullet style mirror on the door - which I'll try to install on mine later in the week - and the wheels. We don't have as many Ghias here in NZ as you guys over there, but we do get them into the classic car magazines every now and then. Like here:

I think even a purist can not deny that you car has been modified with class and taste. Hopefully I will eventfully meet the same expectations someday whenever I finish. _________________ Jesse
