If your car is a '49 Deluxe or Standard Model it won't have crotch coolers. Crotch coolers were only in production on Deluxe Models for a short period of time between mid '51 to mid '52.
Most of the other stuff you've listed is what is found on Deluxe Models with the exception of the ivory 3 spoke steering wheel. All the ivory goods on your car are found in black or Bakelite on most standards and the chrome painted.
Hydraulic brakes are found on Deluxes but not 100% sure when they were introduced, this could be correct for Deluxes from the '40s. Cable brakes were used on Standards through the oval era, not sure of the actual switch over but a buddy of mine has a '63 Standard with hydraulic brakes.
Here's a photo of my '52 and my buddies '63 side by side.

I've clarified the crotch cooler line.
I need to pull out the old birth certificate and check the build date. That might help clear up some of the time line for changes. I don't know if it makes much difference, but I also have a chromed rectangular mirror, which I always thought was a 1950 part. _________________ 49 Deluxe -Family cruiser

|
|
I sort of remember there being a picture of the little round seals that are used on the solid VW emblem on the top of the front hood.
IIRC they were made of the same rubber material as the running boards and were basically dime sized with a slit for the emblem mounting tangs to go through
Am I correct in thinking that the emblem sits directly on the painted hood with the mounting tangs poking through the holes in the hood, slip the seal over the tang on the underneath side of the hood and bend the tang over to hold the emblem in place?
I'm talking about this style of emblem: (picture from classifieds)

As far as I know the only splits with any window rubber metal trim is the Zwitter, which was a transition year car that was only in production for a short time and has an oval dash with a lot of interesting model only tid bits throughout the car. |

I have a 2/51 non crotch cooler with holes for moldings. I guess from an earlier post it would be a 51 standard Canadian spec? |

Did the split standards have the VW emblem on the hood? My '52 does not but it is a restored car and I do not know if it is correct. _________________ '59 Porsche 356 Conv."D" Meissen Blue

As far as I know, standards did not have the VW emblem on the hood. My 1951 Standard does not have an emblem.

Does anyone happen to know the difference in cost, percentage wise, between a standard and deluxe in 1952?

Did the standards have the rear seat back rails (4)....?
Standards only have painted (black) window wiper bases, blades etc.

I am seeing some standards with an "orange or reddish" color painted in the rim centers, (car is pearl gray with pearl gray rims, bumpers and hub caps). Does anyone know if the rims should be two tone or all gray? _________________ '59 Porsche 356 Conv."D" Meissen Blue

I believe April of 51 and later standards had two tone wheels. Poppy red is the color?
same goes for the belt-line pin stripe and the stripe in the bumpers. _________________ drive your split. |
