Im currently installing a Empi shifter in my dune buggy... i am trying to get the reverse lock out to function correctly. finally after hours of trying and trying again, i was able to be able to shift into all the gears. but i can still shift into reverse without the lockout engaged. ive moved the shifter everywhich way and even the smallest adjustments wont allow me to get the interlock to work. any advice is good advice.
thanks in advance

Do you have stock reverse lockout plate in place (oriented correctly)...Many aftetmarket shifters require that you use them...
