My windshield is cracked, to replace the glass is the frame taken apart?

Thanks, that is what I thought.

Now that I am taking it apart, have been thinking of shortening it a bit also. I do not have a top and do not plan on getting one, will go with a bikini top.

Fun idea though, it'd be about as easy to do as it gets. Would reduce the "bendy tendencies" also.

Yes, one thing leads to another, right? Will have to do something about the little receptacles on the hood also, if I decide to go the shortened route. I also see I am missing the little hooks on the top inside corners. The screws are there, but no hooks. Though I think I have a pair somewhere.
