Found an old book in my bookshelf, its printed 1953. And have a lot of nice VW stuff in it.
Found this Ad for a VW Column Shifter. Did they sell anything?
Have anyone seen it mounted on a car?? (pictures?)
It was built by Fisher AG Fur apparatebau in Germany. And the cost was 385 SEK in Sweden 1953 (today a $ around 7 SEK)
Wonder if this was a big seller to, an extra "spare" gastank!?
This picture was in the book to, you cant have enough accessories.
The front of the of the book, one reason to learn Swedish maybe?
Or was it printed in other languages to? |

Jeff Kritz sold one a few years ago. I think Charlie Hamel may own it now. (the shift kit) _________________ "What a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away." Dobee, Dobee, Do |

A guy in Canada has one of those spare gas tanks. That's the only one I've ever seen. There's a thread on it somewhere if you search. |

Yeah that gas tank is probably one of the coolest accessories I've ever seen for any car. _________________ Yeah I like Herbie AND New Beetles. Got a problem with it? Tough.
