Found an old book in my bookshelf, its printed 1953. And have a lot of nice VW stuff in it.

Found this Ad for a VW Column Shifter. Did they sell anything?
Have anyone seen it mounted on a car?? (pictures?)

It was built by Fisher AG Fur apparatebau in Germany. And the cost was 385 SEK in Sweden 1953 (today a $ around 7 SEK)

The front of the of the book, one reason to learn Swedish maybe?
Or was it printed in other languages to?

Jeff Kritz sold one a few years ago. I think Charlie Hamel may own it now. Confused (the shift kit)

never seen one mounted but I think this was the one for sale earlier mentioned above?

it would be cool to see pics of one mounted, I own an nos kit complete with manuals and even the window decals, it's dated 1952 so they did made them and also sold some.

A guy in Canada has one of those spare gas tanks. That's the only one I've ever seen. There's a thread on it somewhere if you search.

Yeah that gas tank is probably one of the coolest accessories I've ever seen for any car.
