So I have the vacuum reservoir on my 1990 cab. So on the cabby site that this is for AC. I am going to replace all of my vacuum hoses and was wondering that if i am not using my AC can i just plug the hose and put the vacuum reservoir away for someone else should i sell the car. Thanks

You could, but the doors for the climate control are vacuum operated. If you don't want to be able to direct the air to different places, take it off.

It will still work without the reservoir , as long as the hose is till hooked to vacuum. On long pulls at full throttle the heater mode door will slowly default to defrost until the vacuum rises again.
