Photo just to show an example of how crappy the paint job was done.
I can touch the primer spots up later, and the paint is probably the least of my worries at the moment but any suggestions on what to do with it?

Yup! But basically, get some steel wool (#000 or #0000) and some goof off, ez off, aircraft stripper, or some motsenbockers, and some plastic razor blades. You just have to experiment a little and see what works best for the particular paint thats on there now. Take your time, its a slow and arduous process, but as you'll see in the thread, the results are totally worth it
