Hey all
This is just a general question that --I believe-- should apply to most (if not all) older vw engines. I didn't see a catchall forum for non specific vw's

Anyway, I have a few engines that I wanted to start working on, but have no idea where to pickup an engine stand.. either online or local to Eugene/Springfield.
In the little research I've done, most people were hinting that a generic stand from harbor freight might not be the best option for older vw engines.

Can anyone fill me in on what I should be looking for? I'd appreciate it, thanks!

volkswagen engines have a 4 bolt setup that is only a volkswagen. Check the classifieds here or your local volkswagen parts supply house.

Please use the dedicated engine stand topic: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=288599
