Hello, i have a 1960 Beetle with a judson charger and magneto, what ignitor is the right for a 1192 cc 30 hp engine? And has someone expierience with that setup? Markus

Is "ignitor" interchangeable with distributor?

If so, the Bosch 010 is a common distributor used with a Judson, as is the 019.

Mhhh, it looks like no one has an idea? I am thinking abaut to use a ignitor or hot spark system to my judson magneto, but i dont know this works?

Does someone know the primery resist of the judson magneto? Im mean the resist bewenn + and - ? I dont have my car here to look at the coil....

If you have a 010 or 019 then the Pertronix 1844 (12v) and 1844N6 (6v) drops in.

I have a 6 volt, but the question ist, does the pertronix work with my judson magneto?
