Customized New Beetles

I am thinking of buying a 2000 model beetle to play with. Maybe a volksrod, maybe a rat rod, maybe some other custom.

Has anyone seen the new beetles being modified / customized?

All I can find on Google is different paint schemes or ground effect kits.

Has anyone started body kits like they did for the classic bug?

Anyone with ideas or pictures?
