| thanks Everett, I had already seen those. this rack seems to be wider than a bug, so im guessing its not for a beetle. the search continues :? |

Yes I've been meaning to get up the lock up recently. I'll be going tomorrow so I will post the measurements up then.

that one is defiantly wider then the Eckel i have.
Mine is for a Beetle. A pic of it can be seen in one of the threads Everett posted
mine is aprox:
33 3/4 inches long from the inside of the front cup to the inside of the rear cup
its 30 1/2 inches wide from the inside of the left cup to the inside of the right cup
as for height clearance its about 4 inches from the bottom of the cup to the bottom of the rack |

ok had a measure up and its like this;
external rack dimentions are 46" x 46"
inside edge rubber to rubber 38.5" x 38"
also two of the clamps are 1.5" shorter than the other two.
