Sounds good Brian. I will try to make it on the 28th. Are you planning on changing locations for these meetings going forward, or is VF going to be a consistent meeting place?

I'd like to keep it at VF b/c we've got guys coming from all over....Delaware, Lehigh Valley area, Philly, etc...so with 476, 422, 202, 76, etc all right there it makes it a good hub for meeting...

but the plan is meet there around 10ish or so til around Noon, then get in our cars and cruise...grab a bite to eat and drink, line up the cars, etc.

what we also have planned are special 'destination cruises'...so around Noon we'd hop in our cars and cruise to Pottsville and take the Free Yuengling Tour of the Brewery, that will be March's outing.

for Feb, some of us will still be working on our rides for show season, so we'll see some vw guys in non-vw rides, which is fine...we just want to get some of us out in the cold, you know...George Washington Style! 8)

I'm headed to Daytona Winter Jam (in the 07 Rabbit) and will be bringing back our OCOD Turkey Run Tshirts and Sweatshirts so i'll have those for sale with me for the 28th.

here's this past year's Flyer/Tshirt/Sweatshirt design. if you click on the merchandise link on the OCOD blog, there's a few other samples of what i'll be bringing back with me too!!

it's right off of the 422 exit for VF Park.
or along 23 (headed east) just past the light at 252. you pass 252, continue up a little hill and the lot is on the righthand side.

i just returned from Daytona Winter Jam this weekend! had a blast--we should have an OCOD cruise down next year with our St.Augie crew!

i brought back a ton of OCOD T-shirts that i'll bring out with me on saturday too! we have limited 2XL and 3XLs, Girl T's, and Kids T's as well!

we printed up the new OCOD design too and will take orders for Dickies work jackets with our OCOD logo on them! i'll be sporting mine on saturday if anyone's interested!

I hate ALL of you guys that have off Saturdays!!!! Only kidding. Maybe you can have some Gatherings on a Sunday once in a while since I always miss out. I can only take a few Saturdays off in the year and I usually use them for GOOD car shows. Have a good time on Sat. Take pictures. I need some bus riding.

that sucks. But then again most shows are on sundays, so it might not always workout. I am sure things can be changed around to suit a better turnout. Maybe have some dates later on in the evening to coincide with some cruise nights, etc.

It would be nice if any wants to take notes on any local cruise nights, non-vw car shows, etc in the tri-state area and either post em here or bring them along this weekend. There are definitely a few weekends with no vw shows going on, so it would be sweet to fill them with something.

there's a few car shows here in DE on the weekends they usually move them from shopping center to shopping center. Usually on saturday evenings I'll keep an eye out

Back in the VW EGO days we used to have monthly club meetings on Tuesday nights due to weekend work schedules, vacations, car shows ect. These meetings were held at various VW shops and dealers in the area. Sometimes club members would host these get togethers at their homes. Any thoughts?

I would definately be in for something like that! I thought all VW Dealerships hate on us Air Sucking Oil Drippers!!
