Welcome to the next Revolution in clutch systems! Ron Lummus Racing (RLR) has been an industry leader in clutch systems since they first introduced the Black Magic clutch disc to the market nearly 15 years ago. The Rev-6 is the next step in putting the power to the ground!
Unlike multi-disc units of the past, this new compact design allows the use of
multiple discs without the clearance issues that plagued its predecessor. A dual-disc system will fit in a Type 1 bellhousing without ANY modifications to the housing! Designed around a 6-inch clutch disc, the polar moment of inertia is incredibly small and the rotational weight is reduced dramatically, making shifting very fast. Very little
pedal effort is required to disengage this unit. In fact, some users have said it feels like a stock pedal! No more bent clutch cable tubes or body builder like left leg!
The Rev-6 doesn’t work from pure static pressure and plate load like all the other systems currently available. The Rev-6 was designed from scratch using modern CAD programming to employ an incredibly efficient use of materials and designed to smoothly engage and hold as much torque as is needed.
RLR has been doing extensive on track testing with this new system for the last year and a half. We have single disc and dual disc units that have logged very impressive incremental numbers, including numerous sub 1.25 60-fts, mid 5 second 1/8th mile e.t.s, and also 8-second 1/4mile time slips.
The Rev-6 is currently available in single and dual disc versions complete with flywheel !
Fully adjustable for base pressure and multiple options for lock up with our Rev-rocker, your unit will come already set up for your specific torque and weight. We have different diaphragms, rockers, and stands, as well as different clutch disc compounds available for fine tuning of each application. RLR has also recently purchased industry leading clutch servicing equipment, so we will be able to do routine service on your Rev-6Clutch System.
These units are sold as complete systems and are available for: Pauter, Scat
Flanged (old and new style), Type 4, and 8 dowel crankshafts. Each unit is pre balanced, and ready to bolt on. The only thing you will need to provide is a late model throw-out bearing, with collar.
