Once your oil temperature reaches 250 degrees it begins to lose its cooling properties, something an air-cooled engine cannot afford. Elevated oil temperatures are often the first sign of other issues. If caught early this information can save you $100's or even $1,000's of dollars. So what is your oil temperature?
Install our Hot Oil Sensor and you'll know if/when your oil gets too hot. There is no complex wiring, no holes to drill and all installation occurs in the engine compartment. When your oil temperature reaches approximately 225-230 degrees your green "idiot light" will illuminate so you know to slow down or pull over to let your car cool down.
