"This dealer was always listed as a used car dealer in the yellow pages. He did specialize in foreign cars during the early and mid-1950s, and sold a great many MGs, Rileys, and apparently VWs, but it is highly doubtful he was ever an authorized dealer. It seems likely that he obtained cars on consignment from authorized dealers that were unable to move them, but I have no confirming evidence of this."
